Barbara (MS, RDN, CDN, CPT) is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, NASM-certified personal trainer, and certified yoga instructor whose passion for exercise and health are rooted in many years of competitive gymnastics. She is currently a Clinical Nutritionist at Hospital For Special Surgery in New York City and an inversions instructor at Yoga Pole Studio in Brooklyn, NY. She received her Master's degree in Nutrition & Exercise Physiology from Teacher's College at Columbia University, and also has a Master's degree in Molecular, Cellular & Developmental Biology from the University of California Santa Barbara, where she also did a minor in Fitness Instruction for Group Fitness and Personal Training. She has worked with personal training clients one-on-one and taught a variety of group fitness classes such as Spinning/indoor cycling, kickboxing, group strength training, step aerobics, boot camp classes and more. She enjoys working with athletes looking to maximize performance, individuals wanting to improve their eating habits, and anyone looking to grow and become more mindful in both exercise and eating.
