Relaxation through breathing exercise
Practice breathing exercises to calm your anxiety. A professional therapist taught me this method and I find that it does help a lot.
What You'll Need
- Quiet space
- Time alone
What You'll Do
- Lie in a quiet dark room and concentrate on deep breathing
- Focus on breathing in, and then breathing out. Notice how your body changes with each breath.
- I find that if I shut my eyes it can help me focus more on my breath and how my body feels and seems to be more effective.
