If you suffer from headaches, peppermint oil can be very soothing and uplifting. You can either diffuse it in the air around you or apply it with a carrier oil such as fractionated coconut oil to the temples and to the base of your skull.

What You'll Need

  • Place a couple of drops of a good quality peppermint oil into a carrier oil
  • Using your fingers massage gently into the back of your head and your temples, being careful of the eyes
  • The combination of gentle massage and the soothing peppermint oil will refresh and help reduce tension related headaches
