Fern Taylor is a mindfulness author, teacher and life-long learner. She gained her PGCE from Cambridge University in 2008 and worked as a teacher for 8 years. Fern discovered mindfulness 5 years ago and found it helped her to deal with health issues she was experiencing. She has since been on many retreats and learnt from different teachers at home and abroad. Fern co-runs a meditation group in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh whom she credits as her main teacher. Her mindfulness practice is also very much informed by the work of Jon Kabbat-Zinn, Dr Kristen Neff and Dr Rick Hanson. Having experienced the benefits of mindfulness in her own life, Fern now enjoys finding creative and fun ways to help others discover the practice. Fern's book 'Here and Now: An interactive mindfulness book' was published by HarperCollins in 2017.
