Laura, DipBCNH, mBANT, CNHC, believes in the ethos of ‘prevention rather than cure’ – listening to signs and symptoms that develop over time and acting on those with the aim of preventing these developing in to something more chronic. She uses nutritional therapy to take a functional approach to promoting health as being more than the mere absence of disease, and uses a range of tools to assess and identify potential nutritional imbalances and understand how these may contribute to an individual’s health concerns. Laura holds 1:1 consultations with individuals wishing to make diet and lifestyle changes to improve or optimise their health. Her special interests include digestive complaints, fatigue, hormone imbalances, and cardio-metabolic health. Laura also educates practitioners for a range of specialist diagnostic laboratories, and lectures at nutritional colleges to assist in practitioner training.
