Miranda holds a first class degree from The Florence Nightingale School of Nursing and Midwifery, part of Kings College London, and currently practices midwifery at a leading London teaching hospital. Her first degree in human physiology a decade ago ignited her fascination with the physiological processes that enable the female body to withstand the pressures of pregnancy, and adapt to life as a nurturing mother. She believes that midwifery is both and art and a science, and is passionate about working with women to give them the confidence, power and knowledge to support them to trust their bodies and their innate ability to birth their baby as they planned. Miranda has worked as an antenatal, postnatal, community, case-loading and labour ward midwife, and currently teaches private antenatal classes with The Bump Class alongside her work as an NHS midwife. She is excited to join Good Zing and share her knowledge of pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period with expectant and practicing mums.
