Icing the area for 20 minutes twice a day helps to decrease inflammation and relieve pain of tennis elbow. When you have symptoms like swelling, tension, discomfort and pain, it's best to deal with things straight away in order to prevent tennis elbow from getting worse. And one fo the best ways to deal with it is simple, free and can be done in your own home at any time.

What You'll Need

  • Ice cubes or ice pack
  • towel or cloth

What You'll Do

  • cover the ice is a towel and apply to effected area
  • When you feel the symptoms start - put some ice (with a cloth) or ice pack over the affected area
  • Keep there for 15 minutes

Tips & Warnings

  • Make sure to put the ice in a hand towel if you're using cubes so as not to burn yourself!
