Cinnamon and Honey for a Cold
Cinnamon is known in Ayurvedic medicine for its properties as an antioxidant. However, it can also help for colds and sinus infections thanks to its anti-viral and anti-bacterial properties too. This is a really simple and delicious way to help boost the healing from the discomfort of a common cold, so try a teaspoon of manuka honey with half a teaspoon of cinnamon powder in warm water, two or three times a day to get rid of your cold!
What You'll Need
- Cinnamon powder
- Manuka Honey
- Warm Water
What You'll Do
- Boil some water and wait for it to cool slightly
- Add 1 tsp manuka honey & 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
- Repeat 2/3 times daily
