Making decisions is a part of everyday life. In the face of decision making, we often naturally choose a quick response based out of fear, rather than a clear, trusting mind. This is what my teacher, Ethan, always referred to as, "living from the mind-mind rather than the heart-mind." The beautiful thing about making a big decision from the heart-mind (aka. being in the present moment) is you can choose, and choose again, and always choose again.

  • Ask yourself: Is this decision in the best interest of my highest good?
  • Get grounded, close your eyes, and feel into the decision. How does it feel physically? Emotionally? Is your breath shallow? Deep? Listen to the sensations that arise.
