Six days before you stop smoking, start smoking with the opposite hand to the one you normally smoke with and hold the cigarette between your second and third fingers. Begin changing your smoking routine, such as smoking a different brand and buying them in a different shop. Delay your first cigarette of the day and also the ones after meals by thirty minutes. Have all drinks and cigarettes separately. When the big day comes for you to quit you will have already changed your unwanted habit and so getting rid of it entirely will be much easier.
