Stress-Related High Hair Fall
When we are stressed we often don't take care of ourselves very well. We may skip meals, or grab something on the go with poor nutritional content. This results in vitamin imbalances, iron deficiency and inadequate protein and calorie intake. Poor nutrition is a leading cause of hair loss, particularly in women. So, reduce your stress levels with yoga or meditation. Studies have shown that Mindfulness can and does provide the necessary tools to deal with every day stress and feelings of overwhelm. Speak to your Doctor about having a blood test to check for vitamin and mineral deficiencies, notably B12 and Ferritin. You may then want to discuss taking some supplements. In terms of diet - eat well balanced meals at regular intervals and don't skip meals.
