Frankincense essential oil
Although acne is associated with the trying teen years, 8% of people develop acne later in life and women who have been on the contraceptive pill can also have this issue when they stop. The easiest step to take when dealing with acne is to revisit your diet! It is key to stop all dairy products, which have been linked and proven to increase inflammation in the body and causing breakouts. Then adopting wonderful fresh food, plenty of greens and other veggies, and drinking a lot of water. Topically, cleaning the skin well with solutions like Witch Hazel is always a great way to start, as it is natural and it helps clean sebum (oil) from the skin. But Frankincense is an oil not many explore or connect to helping with acne and i absolutely vouch for it, with my sister being an aromatherapist and giving me amazing tips on how to use this fabulous oil.
