When my ex-boyfriend and I broke up after dating for 2 years I remember feeling like my entire world was falling apart. All I could think about were OUR daily routines, where WE used to go out to eat, OUR favorite songs, etc. What I came to realize was the only way I was going to get through this was (for the first time in my life) to only focus on MYSELF. Whether that meant going to the gym, eating clean, trying new restaurants, listening to new music- it didn't matter as long as I was doing all of these things for me, myself, and I.
