This stuff is honestly amazing. Growing up in Australia, my mother swore by Lucas' Papaw Ointment for pretty much everything! From sunburn (like I praised in my other tip) to basic burns like accidentally scalding yourself with hot water or burning yourself touching the oven or something, Lucas Papaw Ointment has anti-bacterial and antimicrobial properties that can help soothe and cool down the burnt area really fast. It's one of my favourite go-to products to help with burns, cuts, scrapes, sunburn, skin rashes, heat rashes etc - it's that kind of magic product! And you can use it on so many different basic skin issues too, but if you have something serious like severe eczema or psoriasis then I would ask a dermatologist before you use it. But if you don't really have any concerns then Lucas' Papaw Ointment is the best home remedy product in my opinion!

What You'll Need

  • Lucas Papaw Ointment

What You'll Do

  • Buy Lucas' Papaw Ointment - they have tubs or little tubes that are handy to carry around even in your purse!
  • Dab the affected burn with the ointment to help relieve, cool and soothe the burning sensation.
  • Try not to rub Lucas' Papaw Ointment in - I find that when you dab and let it dry it works a lot faster and better, but see what you prefer.

Tips & Warnings

  • Make sure you buy the real thing; there are a few pretenders out there and their creams do not have the right ingredients in.
