What You'll Do

  • Make 1/2 plate fruits and vegetables
  • Make 1/4 plate protein
  • Make 1/4 plate whole grains
  • Incorporate low fat dairy into your diet regularly for vitamins, minerals, and protein

Tips & Warnings

  • Don't try to change everything at once. Take it one step at a time, such as starting out by increasing vegetables at each meal to reach 1/2 a plate's worth. Then move onto your next goal. This will make it much easier to adjust and you'll be more likely to stick with these changes long term!
