2 Steps to Conquer a Fear of Flying
I used to be scared of flying but for my work I travel all over the world constantly and also live half the year in Bali so 24 hour flights are a reality. These are two of my favorites and they are super simple.

- 1. Make your Mantra. A mantra is a phrase that you create to empower yourself in a particular area or overcome a fear or obstacle. This originated in India from Sanskrit mantras used by yogic monks but I use english ones because that is my first language:) I use 'I am safe and secure' for flying. I have different mantras for different things and I sometimes use mala beads to repeat it 108 times, which calms the mind and instills the belief
- Download a Binaural Beats App onto your smart phone and look for the category under fear/anxietty playlists/tracks. These are specific frequencies used to induce brain states of calm, perfect for combining with your mantra before and during flying
