Brain Freeze and brain fog can be the result of chronic low grade stress and the body's main stress hormone, cortisol, is toxic to brain cells in the memory centre in the brain (the hippocampus). The solution is decreasing cortisol or stress hormone! Get started by cutting out caffeine and sugar for 2 full weeks (these two things spike stress hormone levels!), starting your day with a five minute guided meditation recording (this is the easiest way to make it happen and avoid mind-wandering;) in your bedroom (try Spotify or Youtube for lots of free ones!) end your day with 5-10 minutes of relaxation yoga in your home (again youtube has lots of free ones!)

What You'll Need

  • Yoga mat or rug, meditation cushion to sit on, headphones and iphone to stream guided meditation
