Magnesium deficiency is super common especially if you have stress in your life (most of us;) and drink coffee (which depletes it). In some people low magnesium causes more painful peroid cramps and getting more magnesium can decrease cramps, pain and sometimes even bloating.

What You'll Need

  • Magnesium, look for Magnesium gycinate, which you can find in capsules at most health stores

What You'll Do

Tips & Warnings

  • Shoot for 200-600mg a day daily, avoid if you have kidney problems and if diarrhea develops (which can happen with too much magnesium at one time) ease off the dose until it stops.
