As soon as you possibly can, PAUSE, BREATHE. Remember your anger is yours, it’s a perfectly healthy feeling to have and that blaming anyone may dig you into a hole that you then have to crawl out of. Resist the strong temptation to fight.

What You'll Need

  • A pillow and some privacy

What You'll Do

  • Go beat the cr*p out of a pillow or do some air punches (in a private place probably best!). Keep vigorously punching and scrunch your face up with your ugliest face until you are sweaty and exhausted (a couple of minutes).
  • This produces a healthy biological stress response and allows your body to process the cortisol effectively.

Tips & Warnings

  • Don't go too hard! You want to exhaust yourself but you don't want a shoulder injury!
