Eat healthy fats… DON’T try go fat-free
This means eating good, healthy unsaturated fats found in nuts, peanut butter, avocado, olive oil & various other healthy oils. These fats should be included in your daily diet, as they are proven to lower the risk of heart disease and aid the body in absorption of vitamins and minerals. Eating good fat will help keep you full and satisfied, and is also the key to brain health! In its absence, we tend to reach for sweet and starchy foods. Incorporating good fats into your diet will help reduce sugar cravings, increase energy levels and keep you fuller for longer. Saturated and trans-fats, found in fatty meats, full-fat dairy, cakes, biscuits and pastries, should be AVOIDED as much as possible.
