Think twice before you skip breakfast or any meal for that matter, as this is one of the most common causes of sugar cravings. When you skip a meal or leave long periods between eating, your energy levels drop, and your body begins to crave sugary foods to give you a quick energy boost. Avoid this trap by eating consistently and frequently throughout the day. Try eating five to six small meals as opposed to 3 or 4 large meals, as this will provide your body with a more steady supply of energy.
