Recent research has shown that garlic's anti-bacterial and anti-viral activity against infections stems from allicin, a compound which is found in garlic when it is crushed or chopped. Allicin can also be found in food like onions. So if you have flu, put garlic in your food to help your body heal.

What You'll Need

  • Crushed or chopped garlic
  • (and a tic tac for your breath!)
