On the internet there are often lots of tips for "naturally whitening teeth" and quite often, these involve acidic or abrasive substances. Please be aware that rinsing with acid then brushing your teeth is incredibly erosive. You are literally dissolving and brushing away the top layer of your teeth. Alhough, this may have temporary whitening effects (also debatable), the long term damage on your teeth is irreversible. Furthermore, this is likely to lead to extreme sensitivity over a period of time of doing this.
