Stimulating the point Yintang facilitates a calming effect upon the nervous system. If you find yourself awake during the night, try gently rubbing in a descending motion between the medial ends of your eyebrows, where the third eye is believed to be in some cultures. This point is often used in Chinese Medicine to calm the system, reconnect mind and body and promote the closure of the eyes.
