Still breaking out? Ways to combat your acne
So you’ve got your dermatologist / aesthetician recommended skincare routine down, but still find yourself suffering from acne? You may need to make alterations beyond how you’re caring for your face. These steps will help augment your daily cleansing and help prevent bacteria from causing new breakouts.
What You'll Need
- Specially created skincare routine, extra pillow cases, surgical spirit, almond milk, oil-free haircare
What You'll Do
- Change your pillow case every night for 2 weeks. After that, change it 3 times per week until your breakouts are over. Change your pillow every 6 to 8 months. Regularly clean your phone, glasses and sunglasses with surgical spirit to prevent any bacteria transfer. Avoid all dairy for 2 weeks. Then, have it just once a week, until your skin is clear. If possible, switch to almond milk. Do not switch to soy as it can trigger more breakouts. Do not use hot water on your face. If you play sports, wash any hats, headbands, anything that touches your face (or wherever your breakouts are) after every use. Avoid oils in your haircare.
