The primary emotions related to the element are anger and compassion. The wood element governs our relationship to order, planning, and control. When wood energy is in balance we are confident and intuitive. When out of balance we experience feelings of anger, irritation, frustration, and reactiveness. The key lesson for the wood element is to look within the soul and allow our truth to flow. By doing so, we create space for confidence and become more aligned with our life’s purpose.
