If you are looking to get into a creative flow whether for writing, brainstorming, banging out a ton of emails or even going super deep into a yoga practice there is one simple technique you can use to get you there super fast and keep you there as long as you need. It’s super simple. Find a track that you really like listening to and loop it. That’s it. I’ve had some pretty powerful clients tell me this is their go to anchor for juicing up their focus, creativity and getting into flow. I’ve been using it for years and I was super excited to see the Wordpress founder Matt Mullenweg did the same thing to get into the zone. Shoot for tracks that don’t have too many words as they tend to get you more in a left brain space. Soundtracks are a great place to start. You could also try a two or three song playlist after your in the flow. Or flip it and start out with a two or three song playlist. It’s your flow see what works for you. If you need some inspiration on what to listen to here is my Spotify playlist of songs that I loop depending what mood I’m in. Pick one at first and see how it works for you: https://tinyurl.com/ztfp4td
