Ambitious women everywhere are struggling to live a sustainable balanced life. Between their careers, families, and other's easy to feel overwhelmed. There's always so much to do and not enough time to do it all. This overwhelm is easily brought on by FOMO, the fear of missing out. The easiest way to overcome FOMO is to set boundaries and priorities. Before committing to an event or a meet up ask yourself, "will this person or experience bring more happiness or inspiration into my life?" If not, kindly decline and free yourself up for something that will. It may be challenging at first, but this practice will save you so much time and energy. If you need an extra push, list down what you declined for a week and what you did instead. Were you able to focus more on self care? Were you able to shift your energy to be more productive? Look at the list at the end of the week and compare how each list makes you feel. Change accordingly and learn what balance means for you.
