When you begin to berate yourself for the way your body looks, begin to make a list of things that you can be grateful for about your body. Think about what it does for you - not what it looks like. For example, did it wake up this morning and take a breath? Did it enable you to walk to your bathroom? Did it digest your breakfast? Concentrating on all the amazing things your body is doing for you on a second by second basis can help you banish negative thoughts about your body image.
