Although depression is a chemical imbalance and people should respect that it is a proper illness, for some depression can come from focusing on your self too much. Try and enjoy the larger world, and how you can help others. Start by identifying groups and causes that interest you and place the focus on them, rather than yourself. Your own happiness will follow.
