Green smoothies are a popular, effective means of detoxifying your body. They help rid the body of harmful toxins and provide a large number of vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients. By incorporating green vegetables, green smoothies contain chlorophyll which helps detoxification and the elimination of heavy metals commonly found in pesticides. What You'll Need

  • Kale.
  • Apple
  • Banana
  • Parsley

What You'll Do

  • To make the ideal green juice:
  • 1 cup kale (coarsely chopped)
  • 1 green apple (coarsely chopped)
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley leaves
  • Blend all the above ingredients with 2 1/2 cups of water.
