As people, we are constantly on the go and trying to balance, work, life and families. Many times, people are mentally and physically stressed and millions of people suffer from panic attacks, myself being one of them. In my own life, when I began suffering from panic attacks, I realized how our mind triggers the physical effects of a panic attack. Reiki can help relieve panic, in that it helps to put our mind and bodies, into a state of relaxation and meditative state and can clear the things that are worrying us. When we are having panic, our body goes into, "fight/flight" mode. Symptoms include racing thoughts, heart racing, shortness of breath; all increasing panic. Before becoming a practitioner, I discovered Reiki because of my attacks. When I realized Reiki helped me through these attacks and helped prevent them, I immediately decided to become a practitioner. My thought was helping people, who similarly, were experiencing stress, anxiety and panic. By routinely having Reiki sessions, your panic and anxiety can be significantly reduced. Routine means something different for every person. I tell clients, you'll know when you're off balance; emotionally, physically and spiritually. If you are looking to manage panic attacks, considering routine Reiki sessions or as I like to say, self-maintenance, to gain more control. Reiki helps us to attract calm and peace, gain control of our thoughts and induce mindfulness; which ultimately helps us be in the moment, as opposed to worrying about the future; which can induce panic.
