When you are feeling low you need to lift your energy levels without too much effort. This is my daily routine when I get a mid-afternoon slump.

  • 1. Go outside. Fresh air, blue sky (if you're lucky) and nature are proven to increase positive moods.
  • 2. Walk briskly. Even low intensity exercise can improve your brain function and make you feel better fast.
  • 3. Share. Don't underestimate the power of sharing your concerns with others. Give a friend a call or pop in say hello to someone. Lastly, remember that this too shall past. Even when sometimes it feels like it won't.
