- Lie down on your back with your arms and legs out to the sides and your chin tucked in slightly so that your neck is long. (If necessary you can place a small book under your head and have your knees up.)
- Breathe deeply from the belly through the nose. Breathe in for a count of 4 and out to a count of 8. If you find it difficult to breathe from the belly, place a heavy book on your belly and practice making it rise as you breathe in and fall as you breathe out.
- Try lying down like this for 15 mins three times a day.
