Studies have shown that exercise cuts smoking cravings and may help your brain produce anti-craving chemicals. Withdrawal symptoms and cravings for cigarettes decrease during exercise and for as long as 50 minutes after exercise. Even a 5 minute stretch when the craving strikes can help you resist the urge to smoke.

What You'll Need

  • Set a regular time aside for exercise each day
  • Pick an exercise you enjoy

What You'll Do

  • Aim for at least 30 minutes exercise a day
