A swim in a cold sea or pool will shock the body and give you a well needed burst of energy! Honestly diving into a body of water can make all the difference if you've got a headache, feel nauseous or even have the shakes after a big night out with heavy drinking. It just instantly makes you feel more awake, happy and energised. The point is to get the body moving with some exercise, I know I know, the last thing you want to be doing, but it really does lessen a bad hangover and helps you feel human again. Exercise gets more blood pumping through your body and therefore pumps out the toxins. You don't have to go on a marathon run, even a little yoga, a cycle around the block, or a brisk walk can help if you don't have a local pool or watering hole near you.
