Bruises occur as blood from damaged blood vessels and capillaries deep beneath the skin collect near the surface of the skin. Applying Arnica cream to the skin will help speed the healing process by promoting the movement of white blood cells to the injury site. This is because the white blood cells remove and digest the damaged cells and congested blood. The Arnica Cream will also increase movement of fluid buildup and decreasing the degree of swelling in an affected area. The active chemicals in arnica are also said to act as antibiotics.
