Hydration is really overlooked in maintaining a healthy and optimally functioning body. When the body is dehydrated it holds on to more water naturally as it doesn't know when it will get more. Women, due to their higher estrogen, have higher blood viscosity decreasing the rapidness of the flow in the body. Increasing blood flow will help increase the lymphatic drainage in the body.

What You'll Need

  • Flavanoid rich foods
  • Water based foods
  • Foam roller which aids in increasing blood flow and reducing any water retention.

What You'll Do

  • Naturally, be conscious of and increase your intake of water, but be cautious not to overdo it as you can actually flush your body from the necessary nutrients and minerals you get from food. It's also possible to get water poisoning!
  • Increase flavanoid rich foods such as berries, beetroot, citrus fruit as they help strengthen the walls of the capillaries and improve circulation.
  • Increase your hydration through water rich foods such as cucumber, tomatoes, melons, green peppers, pineapple, celery, etc.
