Lack of sleep over a prolonged period of time can result in exhaustion and effect your health in the long term. If you feel alert at bed time and your mind cannot switch off try the following tips. Create a simple bedtime ritual to help you wind down and signal to your body that it’s time to relax and get ready for sleep. - Did you know the light from electronic devices can interfere with your ability to fall asleep. So turn off the gadgets like the TV, computer or any screens at least an hour before bed. - Have a warm cup of chamomile tea - Read a book - Listen to a short guided meditation
