How to ease Bicep Tendonitis
I see a lot of this in fitness fanatics, more men than women. It's usually caused by long term repetitive contracts of your biceps under a weighted stress. Basically pumping your guns with heavy weights. The answer... NO it's not to stop pumping weights (as if you’d listen to that), but to keep an appropriate posture whilst pumping your arms and do appropriate stretches in between. Of course if you have recently had a flare up, you need to rest and let the inflammation calm. Apart from that:
What You'll Need
- Work on your posture
- Do some stretches
What You'll Do
- Posture: Back against the wall to help keep your back straight, open the chest and slide the shoulders down.
- Stretches: Place you palm flat against the wall and gently twist your body away from the wall. You should feel the stretch in your chest and biceps.
