Exercise For Depression
I read an interesting article about some researchers at Duke University who were looking at how patients depression fared after treatment for depression but with exercise. The team checked up on the patients 6 months later and the exercise only group were less likely to see their depression return with only 8 per cent of them relapsing. To quote the band the verve… the drugs don't work! For long term recovery from depression you have to get yourself moving and work on yourself. At the end of the day if you are aware of yourself and looking after yourself in the long run your body and your mind will thank you for it!
