How to help anxiety - The Pluck Band
No matter who you are - your age, gender, health, career etc we all have very unhelpful thought patterns that can play havoc and can, at worse, physically stop us performing to our full potential. Que the snap band - this can be in the form of anything with elasticity around the wrist - elastic band or hair bobble. Ideally to be worn at all times whenever you notice an unhelpful thought come in.....a quick pluck on the band. This brings external awareness to the thought - you are no longer in the thought, instead you are witnessing it - this helps take the power and charge away and personally I find lets it move through quicker, reducing the chance of anxiety setting in.
